General Construction Jobsite Protocol
MOLTRON agrees to hold any on-site staff, crew members, 2nd tier subcontractors, and any visitors to job sites where MOLTRON is a subcontractor or acting General Contractor to remain compliant with all CDC and Minnesota Department of Health recommendations and best practices.
MOLTRON will conduct a COVID-19 Jobsite Screening Questionnaire for all our on-site staff and crew before entering the site for the first time. The same will be required for any/all 2nd-tier subcontractors. In addition, all visitors to the job site must submit a COVID-19 Jobsite Screening Questionnaire to the Lead on site.
Should staff, crew, or visitors believe to have been exposed to COVID-19 at any time after completing the initial screening questionnaire, they may only return to the job site based on the following criteria:
If exposed to COVID-19 without developing symptoms, staff, crew, or visitors will be eligible to return after 14 days. If symptoms develop during that 14-day period, regardless of day 2 or 13, personnel or visitors will reset to the category described below.
If exposed to COVID-19 and displaying symptoms or testing positive for COVID-19, personnel or visitors will be eligible to return only after all the following have occurred:
- At least seven (7) days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
- No fever of 100.4 or above for 72 hours (without the use of medicine).
- Other symptoms (e.g., cough and shortness of breath) have improved.
On-site staff, crew, and visitors shall stay home if sick or go home if feeling unwell during the day.
Facemask use on the job site shall comply with the following for all crew, staff, and visitors:
When working within 6 feet of another person, facemasks are required to be worn.
When working greater than 6 feet from another person, the State of Minnesota and CDC guidelines are to be followed.
All staff, crew, and visitors entering the job site shall wear a facemask.
Face masks are available to staff and visitors from the on-site lead, if needed.
Used facemasks are to be taken home or disposed of in designated containers on-site with the elastic straps cut.
The crew is required to sanitize tools, job boxes, and break areas daily.
The crew will not gather into groups for breaks and lunch larger than six people and will practice social distancing.
Delivery drivers should stay in the vehicle if possible, and the MOLTRON will whenever possible, perform the unloading. If the delivery driver needs to leave the vehicle, MOLTRON staff will request the driver to wear a mask and complete a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire.
Subcontractors are responsible for ensuring that their employees, sub-subcontractors, and visitors follow the MOLTRON COVID-19 protocols.
MOLTRON on-site staff, crew, and 2nd tier subcontractors for inspections by the city/agency, project owner, and the special inspector, will only allow one crew member to accompany the inspector while practicing social distancing with at least 6 feet separation from the representative.
Site Specific COVID-19 Orientations will be conducted for each crew member by the MOLTRON Field Project Coordinator or Site Lead before working on the site.
MOLTRON COVID-19 Jobsite Screening Questionnaire forms for each on-site staff, crew, and 2nd tier sub-subcontractor will be collected by the MOLTRON Field Project Coordinator or Site Lead and stored at the MOLTRON office.
Social distancing will be practiced at Daily Safety Meetings, and proper separation between all participants as recommended as proper facemask protection.
All MOLTRON employees and engaged customers will be made aware that our COVID-19 protocol is available on our website.
